“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” Psalm 27:14 NIV

Mary waited for the Lord. While she lovingly prepared for the birth of our Savior, she allowed God to guide her. And, in the midst of worry and wonder, He showed His presence in her life. He provided a path of purpose and prepared her to welcome Jesus. 

God blesses our faithfulness. He nurtures strength and provides peace to welcome Christmas calm. He leads by the power of His will and guides us with mercy and grace. He teaches to be patient. And while we WAIT on Him, He readies us for the plans He has for our days. 

God will demonstrate His power when fear tries to steal our calm. He will provide peace when we need to be reminded who's in charge of ALL things. He will help us faithfully TRUST and humble our hearts for good to prevail. 

God will lead us on a path of purpose, as we faithfully follow. He will ready us to receive the Savior, while we patiently WAIT on Him. He will guide, even when we don't know where we're going. And He will help us remember why we will never travel alone...

Dear God, Thank you for Christmas and HOPE that comes from YOU. Open our hearts, so we will make room for Jesus. Calm us with the breath of heaven and cover us in Your holiness, so we will find strength to faithfully trust in YOU. Amen
