Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4
In moments to be humbled, God draws us nearer to the power of His plan. He arms us with everything we need to examine our hearts and recognize why we need the LOVE of our Savior. He shows us how to find peace and strengthens the heart of our weakness when we trust in His power to save. And in moments to feel the LOVE of His presence, He fills us with His Spirit of LOVE.
God doesn’t want us to live without Him. He created us for His great
purpose. He guides and provides for our days. And, when we become
sidetracked and forget which way to go, He leads us back where we
belong. He uses experiences in our lives to remind us He is HERE and
readies our souls to receive Him.
God is our foundation of HOPE. He restores our faith, when we’re tested to the limit and choose to remain faithful. We must “strive for restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind and live in peace. And, the love and peace will be with us.” 2 Corinthians 13:11
God will place joy in our hearts when we take time to feel His presence and understand who is in charge of ALL things... He will pour HOPE in our hearts and strengthen our weakness. He will allow us to feel the power of strength and provide courage to persevere…
When times are tough and our faith is tested to the limit, we must TRUST the One who has already planned our days. He will lift us up and pull us from the ditches of doubt. And while we are held in the arms of His holiness, He will help us see glimpses of better days to come…
Dear God, Thank you for moments to feel the presence of Your greatness. Humble our hearts, so we will recognize the depth of Your love and remember how to welcome perfect peace. When our faith is tested, show us how to persevere and lead us where we will patiently learn how it feels to TRUST. We will remain faithful and find joy, as we gratefully remember; there will never be a day without the guiding of Your everlasting LOVE. Amen
