Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.1 Thessalonians 5: 11 NIV

Compassion grows when we learn to recognize the needs of others. Caring nourishes the soul and allows the love of Christ to be shared. We need to speak about His grace, so others will recognize HOPE comes from mercy. And we need to share the light of Christ that beautifully shines in us. 

Christ helps us encourage others! He prepares us to share what has already been given. He blesses a giving heart and leads us to a place of content. He shows how to examine our lives and reminds us how it feels to be grateful. And He helps us remember; we will never know the heart of someone's journey, until we learn to appreciate the existence of our own.

God will take the selfish side of want and transform us. He will guide and provide opportunities to serve Him with a giving heart. He will show us how to satisfy the needs of others. He will bring JOY in our service to Him and fill us with great purpose, if we will simply take time to demonstrate why we CARE. 

Dear God, Thank you for reminding us to care for those who need to see the glory of Your greatness. As we’re humbled to feel compassion, ready us for opportunities to shine the light of Christ. Open our eyes to the needs of others, so we will honor You with what we say and do. Thank you for Jesus and love that was demonstrated on the cross. We will acknowledge the One who died in our place and never forget; love and compassion will ALWAYS welcome the joy of a grateful heart. Thank you, Lord! Thank you!
