Birds sing even before God brings light to our days. In darkness they announce reasons to be joyful, even before we open our eyes. As God prepares us to wake in His greatness, He helps us remember who is working for the good. He reminds us to be grateful for what He chooses to provide.  

God longs for us to engage in His greatness and recognize His presence of strength. He wants us to be still, so we will feel loved by His mercy and share the heart of our PRAISE. While we faithfully wait to be led from the darkness, He commands the sun to rise. While we are focused on Him, He reminds us to be grateful.

God wants us to see how it feels to embrace a heart of THANKS. He readies us to serve Him wisely. He arms us with everything we need to set the stage for what’s to come and reminds us to TRUST in the timing of His will.

God created the birds and He made each one of us. He has a plan for our days! He wakes us to breathe in PEACE from His presence as we prepare to rise. Mornings will come with a renewed sense of purpose, if we choose to WELCOME His gifts. God will ready us to spread our wings and fly! He is our Creator! He knows what is best for our lives.     

Dear God, You have opened our eyes to a day of new beginnings. Your mercies are new each and every morning of our lives. We will put our TRUST in You, and find purpose in what You provide. We will be faithful as we wait for the sun to rise. And we will find strength as you prepare us to spread our wings and fly. Thank you, Lord. Thank you for the power of Your mighty love. You bring us joy and You bless us! Amen
