"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11
We often hear people say “keep the faith” when we face difficult circumstances. In times of trouble, we sometimes forget God IS with us. We worry about what’s to come and feel the burden of our doubt. But the human side of weakness brings us closer to Jesus. And while we are held in His arms of HOPE, strength is made stronger than before.
We learn a lot about ourselves, when Jesus asks us to COPE with HOPE.
The Bible says, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on
your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and He will make
your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 brings HOPE to those who remember
God has a plan for our days.
God takes the burdens of our hearts and draws us nearer. He reveals Himself in ways we never could have imagined and allows us to experience how it feels to be humbled by love. We won't t be crushed by the frailties of life, because God takes care of us! He has carried us from birth and He will carry us ALL the days of our lives.
The Bible says if we have faith as small as a mustard seed, God will hear our prayers and answer in His will. This is the promise of HOPE that keeps us going… God will speak to our hearts and give us the wisdom we need. In moments of surrender, we will recognize how it feels to be carried. He will prepare us to move ahead, but not until we’ve been held where faith will grow.
God will map out our days and lay a trail for us to follow. He knows the longing of our hearts and knows our EVERY need. He created us for His great purpose. The One who carried us from birth will carry us ALL the days of our lives. He will provide.
We must patiently wait and keep the faith! God will nourish our faith and help us remember why we are not alone. We must be still, seek Him with all of our hearts and “NEVER be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”
Dear God, Thank you for the power of Your love. Thank you for Jesus. We will faithfully follow all the days of our lives and seek You with all of our hearts. Fill us with HOPE as we’re held in Your arms of strength and allow us to experience how it feels to be cradled in care. Thank you for the plans You have for our future. We WILL trust in You. Amen
