Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrew 11:1
Sometimes we feel weary in the worry of our wonder. We question what will happen next. We have trouble remembering to trust and need to be reminded our Father is FAITHFUL!
Jesus met a man on His way toward Jerusalem. Bartimaeus sat on the side of the road calling for the Savior. He was blind and could not see. But his voice was powerful! And in the midst of the noisy crowd, he didn’t allow “be quiet” to silence him. He yelled for mercy and grace.
Jesus revealed the love of His faithfulness and performed a miracle. Bartimaeus received his sight. He was able to see! He was healed because he BELIEVED. In grateful offerings of praise, he chose to follow Jesus. And those who witnessed the miracle, praised our mighty God!
God uses circumstances to demonstrate the power of His love. And when we're blinded by the lack of faith, He opens our eyes to TRUST. He moves us through the dreaded doubt and navigates bumps in the road. And He reminds us to hold on tight and be FAITHFUL.
When the future is unclear, we must seek the One who longs to strengthen our hearts. We mustn’t allow fear to rob hope for what's to come. God will always move us when He's ready. And in the timing of His will, He will help us remain FAITHFUL. He will help us remember who knows what's best for our lives.
God will guide and provide. He will ready us to step ahead. In the presence of peace, He will lead us toward a place of calm. We must believe God is who He says He is; FAITHFUL! And we must ALWAYS BE FAITHFUL to Him. He is handling our days. He will give us hope for the future and help us learn to be patient while He skillfully works in our lives.
Dear God, Thank you for Jesus. We recognize the power of Your will, as we consider the many miracles He performed. We will learn to totally TRUST, as You demonstrate the love of Your faithfulness. And we will be reminded who is handling EVERY single thing. Help us remain FAITHFUL, so we will put our HOPE in YOU and never doubt Your ability to know what is best for our lives. Amen
