The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18: 2 NIV

Sometimes we stand in the middle of weakness and long to be lifted where strength is found. We forget to ask for help from the Savior. And when the weight of the world tries to pull us down, we need to be reminded where HOPE is found.

God is our ROCK, our fortress and deliverer! He lays a firm foundation and shows us where to stand. He hears our prayers for mercy and pulls us from sinking sand. He lifts us with arms of strength and sets our feet on solid ground. He helps us feel the power of His greatness. 

God prepares us to handle circumstances, so we will recognize we don't have to sink in fear! And if we choose to stand strong in the love of His faithfulness, He helps us find STRENGTH in Him. He places our feet on solid ground and moves us to His shelter. He guides us as we learn to faithfully trust.

We must TRUST the One who loves us and allow ourselves to be led. GOD IS working for the good. He will help us find PEACE and place us back where we belong. He has the power to pull us from what's pulling us down! He is our solid rock. And He loves us!

Dear God, thank you for the plans You have for our days. Thank you for loving us, even in weakness. Raise us by greatness, when we need to be lifted and filled with the STRENGTH only You provide. Help us find PEACE as we TRUST in the timing of Your will. Thank you for being our rock; the One who delivers us. Thank you for the loving arms of Jesus. Humble our hearts and help us remain faithful. We will find HOPE in the offering of Your love and remember why we must ALWAYS faithfully TRUST. Amen
