And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4: 7 NIV

When we embrace the gifts of His greatness, God fills us with hope and strength. As we discover His love is forever; He transform us. He helps us surrender fear and learn how it feels to TRUST. He handles our worries and reminds us who is working for the good.

If we were to ask, “What do you want from life?" many would respond by simply saying, “PEACE”. Sadly, many don't know where to find it. They don't know how to embrace the kind of peace only God provides.

The world will try and tell us peace can only be felt when there is no trouble. But that is not true! The Bible says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NIV

We will feel afraid; overwhelmed by the challenges we face. We will become anxious to feel God’s peace and rid ourselves of worry. We will become impatient as we wait to welcome calm and forget God is the One who knows what's best for our lives. But faith will help us remember; God won't always take away what we want to surrender. He will provide  lessons along the way. In requests to welcome peace, we must stop trying to figure out everything on our own and choose to faithfully TRUST.

The world will continue to disappoint, but God will allow the peace of the Savior to diminish our fear. We must make the decision to WORRY NO MORE! God will help us overcome. His peace will stand guard of our hearts. And He will always, ALWAYS take care of those He loves.

The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. Isaiah 32: 17 NIV

Dear God, thank you for moments to be lifted by Jesus. We will TRUST in the power of everlasting love as we’re cradled in Your care. As we welcome Your presence of strength, help us remain faithful and put our hope in You. We will remember how to find perfect PEACE. Peace is what we need Lord. Only YOU know how to perfectly provide it. Thank you, Lord. Thank you! Amen
