I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4: 13

Sometimes, we feel the weight of the world as we move ahead in life. We become weary; in need of rest. But in moments to witness the power of love, God faithfully opens our eyes. He helps us focus on Jesus and embrace the STRENGTH He provides.

The Bible says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (James 1:2–4)

Trials make us stronger when our faith is tested. But as we learn to persevere, God helps us find needed strength. He places peace in our hearts and allows us to experience His faithfulness. He helps us find peace in what Jesus provides and helps us find content.

God knows the needs of our hearts. He knows our every thought. He reminds us it’s okay to admit when we’re not strong. He lifts us where we see glimpses of good and arms us with everything we need to keep on going...

God will help us if we surrender our fear and believe in His power to save. He will allow us to us feel the presence of Jesus. He WILL remind us why we are stronger than before and help us find HOPE as we learn to TRUST.

We will be strengthened as we seek the help of the Savior. But we must be prayerfully patient and work hard to keep on going...God already knows where we will arrive. We must bravely remember we can do ALL things through Christ who gives us strength. And we must never forget we are held by the power of His amazing love.

Dear God, Thank you for moments to reflect on the power of Your greatness and find strength in You. We will open our eyes to Your will and embrace Your presence in our lives. We will trust You to move us along. And we will gratefully welcome HOPE, when we have learned to faithfully persevere. Amen
