May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Psalm 20: 4 NIV

God knows the plans He has for His children. He covers us in mercy and grace. And when we choose to BELIEVE in the power of His greatness, He uses circumstances to remind us why we need Him. He allows us to witness the depth of His love and learn how it feels to find HOPE in His holiness. He shows us why we must seek His presence as we patiently wait to be blessed.

Sometimes we put our faith in other things and try to convince ourselves we can handle life on our own. We plan our own agendas and forget who manages our days. But God finds the way to remind us why we must TOTALLY TRUST. He humbles our hearts so we will examine our lives and recognize we don't have to handle life on our own.

God gives us the desire to do what's pleasing to Him. He prepares us to serve Him with all of our hearts. He opens our eyes to focus on Jesus and see how it feels to welcome His peace. He calms us with reassurance to remember who is working in our days and gives strength to persevere. He guides and provides. And as we learn to be faithful, He prepares us to succeed.

If we stop trying to live life on our own, God will show us amazing things! He will adjust our way of thinking as we focus on Him. He will remind us why we must let Him manage our days! He will place PEACE in our hearts and reveal what happens when we patiently trust. And He will humble our hearts to pray.

God will bless us in the timing of His will. There will never be a day without the love of our Father. He is mighty and worthy of praise! As we triumph in His holiness, He will help us stay on course. If we surrender the selfish side of want and truly believe, He will provide everything we need. He will place JOY where it belongs and show us how it feels to embrace the blessing of a grateful heart.

Dear God, thank you for loving us through the selfish side of want. YOU know our hearts and You know what we need! Help us learn to be patient in the timing of Your will. We will love YOU all the days of our lives and gratefully trust in the plans You have for each one of us. Thank you for giving us the desire to find fulfillment in what You provide. Help us remain faithful, so we will focus on You and feel the strength of Your presence. And help us understand WHY we don’t have to live on our own. Thank you, Lord. Thank you! Amen
