Today our son Ben will marry the love of his life, Kaitlin. We are beyond excited to welcome another beautiful daughter in law to our family! Last night we enjoyed hosting a rehearsal dinner. It was a wonderful evening with family and friends who came to share their love for the happy couple.

I observed a lot as we enjoyed our time together; laughter, the love of family, conversations with cousins, silliness with sisters, brother love, friends who have known one another for life, very proud mothers and fathers and a loving couple who were humbled and kind. Yes, I noticed a lot! ♥

I am reminded God wants us to NOTICE every single blessing! He longs for us to open our eyes to ALL He provides. He wants us to seek Him with a heart that is humble. and experience His presence in our lives. He wants us to be faithful to remember who works for the good.

God wants us to be FULL of His LOVE. He wants us to be patient and remember who handles our days. Even in hectic moments, God longs to bring peace to our hearts and set the stage for what’s to come. The Bible says, "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." Colossians 4: 2

I prayed for our son this morning. I thanked God for the beautiful bride who will stand by his side. I praised Him for the reasons I am grateful and thanked Him for this new chapter in their lives.

I know today will be beautiful. Rain or shine, God will bless the heart of each moment, as we put our trust in Him to navigate this day! Beautiful things come from the joy of a grateful heart. I can hardly wait to see how God will choose to bless each one of us on this glorious wedding day!

Dear God, thank you for waking us to the promise of Your everlasting love. Thank you for what we see when we open our eyes. We are SO blessed by ALL You provide. Thank you for this groom and bride who have shown us what is means to be humble and kind. Bless us with beauty in this day and allow our family and friends to experience the love we feel for You. You give us JOY every day of our lives. Thank you, Lord! Amen
