God is worthy of what we give Him. He dwells in the praise of His children. And when we give Him thanks, He sets the stage for us to recognize what He provides. He rejoices when we embrace a grateful heart. And when we speak in thanks to the One who is worthy, He draws us closer to the presence of His peace.

Praising God helps restore our relationship with Him. He delights in our praise and rejoices in the glory of our love. Sometimes, we forget why we need Him. We try to “do it on our own” and forget how it feels to be led. But God covers us by grace and humbles our hearts to recognize we can’t live without Him. He helps us examine our lives and understand WHY we need the Savior. He grows our faith and guides us where we learn how it feels to be faithfully grateful.

If we stand in awe of our Creator and humbly thank Him for ALL things, we will experience the power of His greatness. God will transform our outlook on life and restore us with an attitude of praise. He will remind us why He is worthy of our love. And He will help us remember we were created to praise Him each and every single day.

Dear God, Thank you for Your presence in our lives. Forgive us when we try to live on our own and forget who’s in charge of ALL things. You are worthy of our love. Help us have a better understanding of who you are, so we will humble our hearts and recognize You are deserving of our never- ending praise. Thank you, Lord. Thank you! Truly, we will love You forever! Amen
