But put God’s kingdom first. Do what He wants you to do. Then all those things will be given to you. Matthew 6:33
God wants us to know His kingdom provides more than what the world has to offer. Jesus leads us to the Father and reminds us to seek Him with all of our hearts, live in accordance with His plan and share the promise of salvation with others. He helps us recognize His LOVE is so much greater than riches of the world.
Sometimes we have trouble letting go of our own agendas. It becomes hard to totally TRUST. But God knows what we need. He sees inside the layers of our hearts and knows what will bring us wholeness. He humbles us in truth and helps us examine our lives. And when we are able to recognize what has been missing, He fills us with gratitude in His presence.
God is to be honored ABOVE everything else. He is deserving of praise! He guides and provides for our days. We will never be without the offering of His LOVE. As we surrender and remember who is handling ALL things, He opens our eyes in truth and helps us discover His purpose for our days. He allows us to feel the LOVE of a grateful heart.
If we put God first and do what He wants us to do, He will sustain us on earth and prepare us for what’s to come. He will remind us why it takes time to be readied for His will. He will fill us with strength and help us share His LOVE with others. He will prepare us to receive what only HE provides. And He will help us gratefully remember; peace will ALWAYS come in His presence.
“We should let our love for God change the world, but never let the world change our love for God.”
Dear God, thank you for helping us examine our hearts. In quiet moments of truth, we feel the love of Your faithfulness and understand why we need it. Help us remember who’s in charge of our days and give us PEACE when we need to reminded who is working for the good. We will seek You with all of our hearts and begin this day in praise. And we will never forget how lucky we are to be perfectly LOVED by You! Thank you, Lord! Thank you. Amen
