I look up to the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD. He is the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121 NIRV
Our mighty Creator made heaven, earth and every living thing. He is our Helper in time of need; our loving Father who provides for our days. He guides us where we faithfully learn to TRUST and helps us focus on the presence of His love.
Often, we look to the hills and become weary of mountains to climb. We forget who leads us through valleys of doubt. We have difficulty seeing what’s ahead and need to be remember Jesus guides us to the Father. He navigates the steps we take and shows us how to travel. He helps us welcome a presence of peace and faithfully persevere, so we will keep on climbing...
God’s power is greater than anything we can imagine! We can call on Him when we’re going through difficult days of doubt. He is close to the heart of our needs. He WILL provide courage to handle obstacles along the way. And He will give us strength to reach for His greatness.
If we absorb the power of God’s WORD, we will recognize His presence in our lives. Isaiah 41:10 says “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” And, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31: 6
We must remain faithful! God WILL equip us to move along. In the timing of His will, He will reveal what waits to be discovered. We must NEVER forget; He WILL give strength to those who trust in Him and choose to follow Jesus.
Dear God, Thank you for being the Helper of our hearts. YOU are worthy of love and faithfulness. We will find comfort in the promise of Your presence and allow the love of Jesus to open our eyes to Your strength. Carry us over the mountains we face and give us HOPE in time of need. We will find courage to keep on climbing and never forget who navigates our steps. Thank you, Lord, thank you! Amen
