Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good. His faithful love continues forever. Psalm 107:1

Sometimes we rush through weeks of autumn without taking time to cultivate a grateful heart. We move quickly through November and focus only on what’s to come. We allow advertisers to make us believe Thanksgiving is just a scheduled day to feast. And we don’t take time to consider God’s awesome blessings in our lives.

There will always be persuasions in the world that try to steal our joy. But we will find reason to appreciate the seasons of life, if we focus on Jesus and embrace the gift of a grateful heart. He will remind us to be still and feel the power of His presence. And He will help us discover the mighty love of God.

God will reward our faithfulness. He will prepare us for what’s to come. He will help us cultivate a spirit of thanksgiving and rejoice in the prayers of our PRAISE. He will help us remember why we should be grateful. He is a good, good Father who's deserving of our love. We must never forget to show our appreciation for what He is doing and for ALL He has done. ♥

Dear God, Thank you for Your presence. Forgive us when we become consumed by what’s to come and forget to respond to Your faithfulness. We’re so grateful for every season of our lives. As we take time to harvest a spirit of thanksgiving, help us remember to ALWAYS be grateful for You. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for being our Provider. You give us everything we need and we are blessed! Amen
