And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:11

The wise men traveled and found the Christ Child. They shared their gifts and treasures. God’s will was revealed when Jesus brought light to the darkness. Sometimes we’re not sure what to offer the King of Kings. But Jesus meets us where we are. In tender moments of need, He helps us examine our lives, journey in the right direction and discover how it feels to humble our hearts for Him. He reminds us how to faithfully love and receive Him.

When God opens our eyes to recognize the LOVE of the Savior, we need to be ready to welcome ALL He provides. As we visit the manger and consider God's gift to us, we must make time to fill ourselves full of His PEACE. Hope came because of Jesus. Gratitude is the gift we must share with the One who gave His life, so we will live. Jesus is worth more than gold on this earth. If we seek Him with all of our hearts, believe in His power to save and love Him for what He has done, we will be blessed by what He deserves.

Every heart needs HOPE at Christmas and PEACE for Every day of our lives. The gratitude of our hearts will nurture the strength of His greatness. God sent His Son to save us! He will help us make room for Jesus. We will find JOY if we seek Him with the prayers of our praise. What can we give to the Savior? A heart that has already chosen to receive the gift of His amazing love. ♥

Dear God, Thank you for this season of HOPE. Thank you for quiet moments when we welcome the presence of Christ. As we praise the One who deserves what we give Him, humble our hearts in thanks. Help us recognize what He desires from us. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for Christmas. Prepare us to RECEIVE the LOVE of His presence. And help us remember why we need to love Him even more. Amen
