The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him: Psalm 37: 23 NIV

Christ longs for us to focus on Him instead of worrying about where we’re going. He opens our eyes to clearly see what happens when we trust and obey. He walks with us on paths unknown and guides us to the Father. And when we’re ready to travel in truth, He grows our faith to remember we will never have to travel alone.

As we place one foot in front of the other, we begin to see what waits to be discovered when we fix our eyes on Jesus. He helps us stay on course and remember who handles our days. He gives strength to keep on going and helps us hear the voice of reason when we allow ourselves to be moved.

We can learn a lot as Jesus leads us. He helps us discover what comes from surrender, so we will find courage to follow. He reminds us why God gives purpose for each and every step that lead us nearer to Him.

God WILL nurture our faithfulness. He WILL use moments of surrender to fill us with PEACE. The One who created us to love Him with all of our hearts will humble us with reasons to be reminded HE IS GOOD. HE will show us where to go.

It’s okay if we need to be reminded to keep on going... The human side of weakness will always slow us down. But God will restore us! He will pour the Spirit of His holiness in our hearts and motivate us to persevere! He will arm us with everything we need to remember; He really DOES HAVE A PLAN for our lives. God knows what He is doing. We must faithfully be patient and choose to TRUST.

Dear God, thank you for reminding us to keep on going. Open our eyes so we will clearly see WHY we need the power of Your greatness. Guide our steps and humble our hearts for Jesus. Help us learn how-to walk-in truth, so we will remain faithful and understand what will happen if we TRUST in You. Thank you, Lord. Thank you for peace, joy, mercy and grace. We are lucky to recognize the presence of Your love. Amen
