To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…” Ecclesiastes 3:1

Winter weather is dreary. We miss the sun and become impatient as we wait for better days to come. We forget there's reason for the seasons and need to be reminded who plans the purpose of our days.

God is in charge of the weather and we are in charge of accepting what He provides. Sometimes He chooses blue-sky days of sunshine good. And sometimes days of cloudy gray seem to last forever. But God knows the plans He has for our lives. He offers His gift of light and allows us to use it for His glory.

The weather won't prepare us to embrace what’s to come. But GOD will help us find purpose in EACH and EVERY day. He will show us why there’s a reason for the timing of His will. He will provide strength to endure while we wait on Him and allow our faith to grow.

HE WILL prepare us for what's to come. The sun will shine with greater reward if we patiently wait for gray-sky days to disappear. We must TRUST the One who will shine His light, even on darkest days of doubt.

God is near and He loves us. He will help us learn to be patient while we embrace a grateful heart. He will help us remember who is ALWAYS working for the good. God knows what He's doing! We must allow Him to guide and provide EVERY single day.

Dear God, Thank you for warming us with the light of Your love. Open our hearts for Your will, so we will find peace in the calm of Your presence. Help us learn to be patient while we wait on You. Give us strength to remember there’s a reason for the seasons of our lives. We will love you with all of our hearts and find strength in the joy of our praise. And we will gratefully remember who's in charge of our days. Thank you, Lord! Thank you! Amen
