Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
God wants us to TRUST in Him, even when we walk on paths unknown. He guides our steps and readies us to travel. He prepares us to step in FAITH and find purpose for our days. He tugs at our hearts and gives us direction. And when we faithfully respond, He shows where to go. We find STRENGTH as we follow Jesus.
It may be hard to leave a comfort zone and prepare for new beginnings. But God knows what we need. He helps us examine our lives and consider how to grow. He fills us with desire to experience the fullness of Christ and prepares us to walk with Him. As we pray and stop trying to figure out everything on our own, God reveals His will. He helps us learn to leave doubt behind. He nurtures HOPE which comes from TRUST and faithfully blesses our lives.
God knows where we’ve been. He knows what has fondly held us together. But as we continue to grow and use the gifts we’re given; we mustn’t be afraid to welcome what is placed in our hearts. God will provide everything we need to experience PEACE in His presence. He will help us stay focused in the footsteps of Jesus.
God WILL ready us in the timing of His will. We must remain close to the One who knows where we’re going. He will provide JOY in the journey as we remain faithful. God has a plan for our lives! He will orchestrate a rhythm of wholeness and allow us to witness amazing grace. He will ALWAYS provide THE WAY. We must TRUST and have courage to move when He says we are ready to go.
Dear God, thank you for guiding our lives and helping us stay on course. You show where to go as we learn to obey and follow. We will gratefully wait to discover what happens when we step in FAITH and surrender the worry of our wonder. We will open our hearts and receive the perfect PEACE that flows from Your presence. And we will boldly walk where JOY will remove ALL doubt. Thank you, Lord! Fill us full of everything we need to serve with all of our hearts. We will faithfully respond, “yes” when You call us to experience Your greatness. Thank you for knowing exactly what we need. Amen
