On a day to celebrate those we love; we enjoy sharing surprises with family and friends who make us feel treasured. Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to show our LOVE and consider how much we are LOVED by God. He created us to LOVE one another.

The Bible provides reminders of how we are to LOVE. “Dear children, let us not LOVE with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” LOVE is a gift of good, more powerful than our feelings. When we demonstrate the LOVE God has shown to us, we begin to understand how to share compassion and kindness.

God wants us to encourage each other with the gifts He provides. As we remain faithful, He allows us to experience joy from His greatness and see how to follow the example of Jesus. He served others with a humble heart and taught about LOVE. It was shown by the way He lived.

LOVE is patient and kind. It is not jealous or boastful, proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. LOVE never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. I Corinthians 13:4-7

Jesus washed His disciples’ feet in moments to demonstrate the heart of amazing LOVE. We can show Christ-like LOVE to others and allow them to see the kind of LOVE that was shown by Jesus.

Happy Valentine’s Day dear family and friends! May we continue to LOVE with patience, faith, generosity, wisdom, grace and never forget our GOD is the source of the highest LOVE. If we choose to truly LOVE one another, we will honor Him. ♥

Dear God, Thank you for the heart of Your faithfulness. Thank you for giving us moments to feel the depth of Your amazing grace. We will honor You with all of our hearts and gratefully remember to LOVE like Jesus. Thank you for LOVING us so very much! And thank you for reminding us how to LOVE one another every single day of our lives. ♥ Amen
