Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46: 4 NIV

Sometimes, we forget the Father of mercy and grace is closer than we think. We forget who provides STRENGTH to endure. God never stops taking care of His children. He helps us discover the love of Christ and have a relationship with Him.    

With arms wide open, Jesus longs to touch us. He reaches out, hoping we will lift our hands to HIM. He opens our hearts to recognize the heart of compassion and helps us experience the faithfulness of love.

As we’re connected to Jesus, we begin to understand how it feels to be held. Christ provides what we need to find shelter in the comfort of care. He carries us in the presence of PEACE. 

Why do we make Jesus reach so far to touch us? Why do we waste time trying to convince ourselves we can make it on our own? If we seek Him and pray, surly He will hear us! He will pull us from doubt and show us where HOPE is found. 

 

God will sustain us! He will make sure we are carried EVERY day of our lives. He will provide what we need. We must be ready to welcome the love of Christ. We must make ourselves available and ALWAYS be ready to hold on tight. 

Dear God, thank you for opening our eyes so we will focus on Jesus. Forgive us when we try to handle life on our own. Open our hearts in the timing of Your will and help us remember to TRUST. We will lift our hands to the One who saves and humble our hearts for Christ. We will remember how much we are loved and find STRENGTH from the heart of His holiness. Amen
