God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4 NLT

God knows our hearts. He comforts those who weep. He holds us in His arms and helps us find His strength. When sorrow steals our calm, He whispers I am HERE and covers the sores of sadness. He brings comfort and peace for hurting hearts. 

Sometimes we forget this is not our home. But because of Jesus, we can BELIEVE in salvation and the wholeness of what’s to come. God readies us to receive our heavenly reward. 1 Corinthians 3:9 NLT says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.” 

When our loved ones are called to leave, God knows the sadness of our hearts. As they’re lifted from pain in the world, He reminds us we’re not alone. He comforts us to remember those who have left WILL experience the wholeness of Christ! They WILL witness what we can only imagine…

The journey we take in our lives WILL prepare us to be ready when God calls us home. “The suffering we feel now is not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:18 God promises to take care of those we love. We WILL honor their lives by the way we choose to live our own. 

As we welcome the gift of salvation, BELIEVE in Jesus, surrender our sin and share the good news of mercy and grace, God will open our hearts for His presence. NOTHING will separate us from the Father. He WILL take care of those we love. One day, He will bring us back together. ♥

We must fall on Him and allow PEACE that passes all understanding to help us remember God will continue to work for the good every day of our lives. He will help us keep going when we must say “goodbye” to those we love. He will give us strength to remember LOVE WILL ALWAYS BEARS ALL THINGS.  

Dear God, Thank you for the power of Your love. When times are difficult and we cannot walk on our own, help us recognize we are being carried by You. We will TRUST You all of our days and find COMFORT in the arms of Jesus. While we’re cradled in care, we will feel PEACE that passes all understanding and gratefully recognize YOUR STRENGTH will ALWAYS see us through. Thank you for holding us together when we must say “goodbye” to our loved ones. Thank you for the way they touched our lives. Amen
