Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Ephesians 4: 23 NLT
Sometimes the weight of the world lays heavy on our shoulders. We become weary in sadness and doubt. But God has the authority to lead us to a better frame of mind. He knows how to silence worry and help us find refuge in His care.
God loves us! In times of trouble, He finds the way to remind us we’re not alone. He uses circumstances to draw us nearer and experience how it feels to be held. He humbles hearts with mercy and grace. And He helps us learn to faithfully TRUST.
It will be hard to deal with anxiety. Worry will rob our strength and make us believe we will never be more than fearful. But the Bible has a lot to say about our thoughts. 2 Timothy 1:17 says, God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. He longs for us to focus on what is good and think about things that are worthy of praise. Read Philippians 4: 8 NLT
God has plans for our days! He WILL ready us to find purpose and grow from the gifts of His greatness. He WILL open our hearts to be reminded who’s in charge of ALL things. He WILL restore our souls. In moments to be lifted by faith, He WILL provides glimpses of how it feels to be WITHOUT worry.
We don’t have to live in crippling thoughts which are consuming. God will help us surrender what’s holding us back from finding needed PEACE. He will guide, provide and remind us how it feels to be grateful. He will help us see how it feels to breathe in HIs fullness once again.
Dear God, thank you for opening our eyes to another day of living. Forgive us when we forget to focus on YOU. Please take the worry from our hearts and replace it with thoughts of good. Thank you for PEACE that comes from Your holiness and moments to experience how it feels to truly live without fear. We will gratefully welcome ALL You provide and continue to remember YOU are working for the good. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for Your presence in our lives. We would be lost without it. Amen
