Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Colossians 2:7 NLT

God uses circumstances to draw us deeper to the presence of His love. He nudges us in ways we begin to realize the power of His greatness. He helps us discover why we need Him and allows us to see what happens when we totally TRUST. 

Life will carry worry and remind us we can’t handle stress on our own. But God will see inside the heart of weakness and open our eyes for His love. He will guide, provide and help us find comfort. He will fully restore our souls. 

The Bible says, “I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord” Jeremiah 30:17. NIV. God knows how to heal physical pain and bandage emotional sores. When we’re pushed to the limit, He will pull us closer than before and fix what is broken. 

When the voice of truth speaks louder than despair, God will bless our faithfulness. He will show how it feels to surrender the burden of doubt. He will help us see what HE sees in us. “The more we let God take over, the more truly ourselves we will become.” 

God WILL help us experience the joy of His fulness. Then, we will understand how it feels to truly welcome the love of a grateful heart. ♥

Dear God, thank you for loving us through every moment in our lives. Forgive us when we forget why we need YOU. Arm us with everything we need to grow deeper in faith and discover who we were created to become!  We will find strength from the love of Your holiness and humbly welcome the gift of a grateful heart. Thank you, Lord. Thank you! Amen
