When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2 NIV
Time and again, we hear stories of God’s unfailing love and the promise of truth He places in our hearts. When lives are affected by circumstances of living, we need to be reminded GOD IS WITH US. When things are going well and we find the breath of calm, we need to reminded GOD IS WITH US. And when we can’t let go of fear, we mustn’t forget GOD IS WITH US.
HE loves us! There will never be a day without the power of His greatness. As the seasons of change affect our lives, He knows how to guide and provide. He covers us with mercy and leads us where we begin to understand we can’t live without Him.
God provides PEACE that passes all understanding, HOPE as we learn to cope and COURAGE to keep on going. As we wake to new beginnings, we must examine our lives and be willing to humble our hearts for Him. We must allow ourselves to feel His nudging and be ready to gratefully respond.
The Bible says, The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:18-19 We must be honest with ourselves as we’re held in the arms of His love. God will handle EVERY single thing. He will lift us from the valleys and bless us with His power of strength. He is God! He knows the plans He has for the future. We must TRUST in Him and never doubt His ability to know what’s best for our lives.
Dear God, thank you for loving us through difficult days. YOU bring PEACE in Your presence. We will TRUST in You. No matter what the future holds, we know YOU will guide our steps and remind us to keep on going. We will give You the prayers of our praise and never forget how lucky we are to be held by Your holiness. Give us strength to remember YOU are ALWAYS with us. Thank you for what You provide as we humble our hearts and recognize there will never be a moment without Your faithful love. Thank you so very much! Amen
