He gives strength to those who are tired. He gives power to those who are weak. Isaiah 40:29 NIRV

God is our ever- present help in time of need. He helps us recognize where to find needed strength. He lifts us from worry in our lives and readies us to TRUST. He opens hearts for Jesus and provides STRENGTH to endure. He gives us courage to face fear and see how it feels to be freed from the burdens in our lives.

There will be moments we feel uncertain. Worry will create frustration and fear. But Jesus will walk us through every season. He knows the pain of affliction that causes us to doubt. He knows how to help us welcome calm.

 

As we take time to think about our wounds, we should reflect on Jesus’ suffering and remember He took the pain of our own. He overcame the cross. He knows how to help us overcome! He gives strength to the weary and those who are afraid. He finds the way to remind us where HOPE comes from.

We should take a break from what is overwhelming and think about the heart of Christ. Sores of the soul will be bandaged by the love of His faithfulness. We will learn to be grateful for wounds that pull us closer to the healing of God.  

We don't have to be weighted in worry! God WILL take care of us. He will help us if we stumble and fall. There will never be a day without the guiding of His greatness. Isn’t that reason enough to stop doubting and focus on the kindness of His love?

“Sometimes what we’re afraid of is the very thing that will set us free.” GOD is HERE! HE is working to restore us. HE will handle EVERY single thing! We can put our faith in knowing He WILL take care of those who call on Him and believe He has the power to save. 

God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 NLT

Dear God, Thank you for the power of Your holiness! Thank you for the love of Jesus! Forgive us when we become consumed by fear and need to be reminded who IS handling EVERY single thing. When weary thoughts fill us with lies, give us courage to seek Your truth and keep on going. Help us remember who bandages wounds. Thank you for taking care of us and those we love, especially in days of doubt. We will gratefully discover what happens when we choose to TRUST and welcome the PEACE that will help us find courage and calm. Thank you, Lord! You always know what we need. We are GRATEFUL! Amen
