The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace. Psalm 29:11 NLT 

When worry steals our calm, we need to be reminded Jesus IS with us! He knows how to help us overcome. He sees our need for mercy and readies us to welcome the heart of His love. He knows what we store deep inside and helps us surrender fear. He reminds us it's okay to talk about our frailties.   

When others ask, "How are you doing?" we usually say, "I'm fine." But we can't fool Jesus. He knows when we're not feeling strong. Anxiety will make us believe PEACE will never return where it belongs, but God is SO much bigger than our worries.   

If we accept the need for change, Jesus will take our burdens and give us courage to bravely endure. And if we stop trying to handle life on our own, we will learn to TRUST in God's authority. He will arm us with everything we need to prepare for what's to come and bandage sores of the soul.  

"We don't have to pretend with Jesus" He knows we want to focus on what is good and learn to TRUST in God's timing. We mustn't listen to the lies of anxiety. God has a plan and purpose for our days. He will restore our way of thinking and help us remain faithful as we wait for better days to come. He will bring PEACE in our patience and show us where to find it. There will never be a day without the goodness of His love.   

Dear God, Thank you for waking us in opportunity to be reminded of Your greatness! We will surrender fear to YOU. Arm us with the power of Your love and help us find PEACE in Your presence. We will humble our hearts for Jesus and faithfully wait for better days to come. Thank you for loving us through our weakness. We will learn a lot when we decide to be honest with YOU.  Amen
