And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:11

God wants us to welcome the Savior EVERY day of our lives and remember Christmas is so much more than one day to celebrate. It is a season of opportunity to welcome HOPE, make room in our hearts for Jesus and give Him the gift of our LOVE.  

The wise men traveled and found the Christ Child. They shared their gifts and treasures. Sometimes we’re not sure what to offer the King of Kings. But Jesus helps us examine our lives, understand we’re headed in the right direction and experience how it feels to welcome His love. 

When God opens our eyes and reminds us why we NEED the Savior, we must be ready to let Him in with thankful hearts. He is deserving of GRATITUDE EVERY day of our lives. We must humbly make room for Jesus and respond to His nudging. 

What can we offer Him? A heart that welcomes HOPE, PEACE, MERCY, COMPASSION, KINDNESS, GRACE and LOVE. Every heart needs HOPE at Christmas and every day of our lives. 

The love in our hearts will nurture the strength of His greatness. God sent His Son to save us! He will reward the love of our praise. What can we give the Savior? A heart that is ready to receive the gift of His amazing love. ♥

Dear God, Thank you for the love of Jesus. As we praise the One who deserves what we give, humble our hearts in thanks. Help us recognize what He desires from us. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for Christmas. Prepare us to RECEIVE the LOVE of Your presence. Help us find PEACE in this beautiful season of love. Amen
