He will be a joy and delight in you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, Luke 1:14 NLT

God wakes us in opportunity to welcome Jesus and rejoice because of His birth! He longs for us to treasure His gift to the world. He helps us examine our lives and recognize why we need the Savior.  

When we invite Jesus to dwell in our hearts, He helps us welcome HOPE. No matter what we’re going through, He provides STRENGTH to cope. He loves us through whatever happens in our lives and reminds us we’re NOT alone. 

Jesus was sent for so much more than one day of recognition. He brings PEACE to our hearts and shows how to find it. He blesses us with moments to feel His greatness and demonstrates the power of His LOVE. He reminds us where JOY is found. 

JOY isn’t packaged for only one day to make us feel happy. God’s goodness is everlasting. We find it as we learn to faithfully TRUST. Days of our lives will bring struggles. But because of Jesus, we WILL overcome.     

God sent His Son to bring peace and hope through our Savior. We will find JOY that will bless our hearts forever, if we praise Him in His presence and give Him the love He deserves. He is HERE and He loves us!

Dear God, thank you for ALL You provide. Fill us with HOPE as we prepare to welcome Christmas and receive Your greatest gift. We will make room for JOY to fill us with appreciation and remember how lucky we are to be loved by YOU. Thank you for Jesus! Thank you for taking care of us EVERY day of our lives. Amen
