Jesus said, " Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:28-29 NLT

Jesus helps us COPE with HOPE. He shows us how to find comfort and strength. He fills us with His presence and helps us find COURAGE and PEACE. 

For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NLT

Jesus was born with a purpose. As we reflect on the events of His birth, we begin to appreciate the miracle of Christmas and recognize God sent His Son to save. He canceled the debt of our sin and did what was needed for us to live forever with Him.   

We can’t afford to turn our eyes away from Jesus. He will provide clarity as we seek Him and welcome what others will NEVER provide. He will lead us to the Father, help us surrender fear and guide us to a place of calm.   

How can we find PEACE in difficult days of doubt? We can pray, read God’s WORD (Bible) and choose to BELIEVE we are held by His holiness. Jesus brought light to the darkness and continues to LOVE us through the circumstances in our lives. 

We WILL find calm in the Christmas season and EVERY day that follows, if we keep HOPE alive! God is HERE! He will ALWAYS take care of us. He offers the greatest gift; our precious Jesus! How will you choose to receive Him? He longs to have a living relationship with each one of us. 

Dear God, humble our hearts and help us understand why we need the love of Jesus. Open our eyes to witness the depth of His love and find PEACE from the Holy Spirit. Our hearts are hurting and we’re burdened by the sadness in the world. Help us COPE with HOPE and welcome Christmas with a better understanding of what Christ has already done. We will remember where STRENGTH is found. Thank you for the gift of our Savior. He is worthy of ALL of our love. Thank you. Lord!  Amen
