May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit Romans 15: 13

When all is said and done, often we feel sad when it's time to say “goodbye” to Christmas. It comes and leaves quickly! This year was very different, but we found creative ways to celebrate the birth of Jesus and welcome new opportunities to celebrate with family and friends. 

God sent Christ for so much MORE than a day of celebration! Often, we forget He wants us to welcome Him EVERY day of our lives. Jesus brings hope, peace and joy to our hearts. God's will was fulfilled when Christ came to earth! We will never have to say “goodbye” to the promise of mercy, grace and endless love. 

God helps us recognize how to find strength in the power of His plan. He places purpose in our days and readies us to find it. He helps us remember we will never be without the power of His love. His gift to the world is offered to each one of us! We must open our hearts and receive! He will set the stage for GOOD to come and delight in our patience. He will remind us who is working for the good. 

We mustn’t be sad to say “goodbye” to Christmas! “Joy to the world, the Lord is HERE and He loves us! Let us praise Him for His everlasting presence and shine the light of His love! Oh, how we need to welcome the Savior EVERY day! HE is the way to the Father. He will give us comfort and JOY. He will help us keep it in our hearts forever... 

Dear God, thank you for moments to draw nearer to Jesus. Thank you for Christmas, family and friends. Help us remember LOVE is meant to be shared. We will gladly receive Your greatest gift to the world and welcome Your STRENGTH as we wait for better days to come. Thank you for taking care of each one of us. You know what we need and we are grateful! Thank you, Lord! We will TRUST in You and never say, "goodbye" to Christmas. Amen
