God knows how to handle our days. He helps us examine our lives and experience how it feels to be faithful. He provides glimpses of HOPE and opens our eyes to witness mercy and grace. In tender moments of truth, He allows us to welcome the STRENGTH of our Savior.
Traveling to Bethlehem must have been difficult for Mary and Joseph. But with every step of courage, they kept moving ahead, trusting in God’s will for their lives. TRUST is what we need to keep on going, even when we don't know where we will arrive.
Jesus came to bring HOPE to our world and PEACE in the promise of His presence. He walks with us and carries our burdens as we travel together. He leads us to the Father and places calm in our hearts. When the worry of wonder creeps deep in our souls, He reminds us who determines our steps.
If we prayerfully seek Him, God will help us BELIEVE in the power of His will. He will prepare us to walk with Christ and guide us on the way. Let’s praise Him for the gift of our Savior and THANK Him for what’s already been done. God WILL take care of us as we step closer to the heart of His love and gratefully choose to follow Jesus.
Dear God, thank you for the power of Your love. Forgive us when we forget who guides and provides. Help us remember to TRUST in You as we step in faith EVERY day of our lives. Even though the future is unclear, hold us together as we journey with Jesus. Arm us with the STRENGTH of Your never-ending love. Thank you for Christmas! As we reflect on the travels of Mary and Joseph, humble our hearts to remember you took care of them and You WILL always take care of us. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for Jesus! Amen
