Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Colossians 4:2 NIV 

Sometimes we forget God is HERE! In the midst of all we encounter,  He never stops taking care of those He loves. He guides, provides and knows how to lead us toward wholeness. 

 

Prayer allows us to feel the power of God’s greatness and understand the need for mercy and grace. It helps us recognize WHY we need Him. He knows our hearts and longs for us to experience what happens when we TRUST.  

As we take time to pray, we begin to feel the connection of Jesus and understand He knows our needs. He helps us cope and find STRENGTH from the Father. He humbles our hearts and reminds us who IS handling our days. He gives courage to faithfully endure.  

Now more than ever, we need the consistent guidance of God. We can talk with Him any time of the day and speak truth from the longing of our souls. We can give Him our praise! He wants us to receive what will offered by the goodness of His love. 

“We must never be afraid to trust and unknown future to a known God.” He is HERE and HE loves us. HE is a good, good Father who will carry us safely and ALWAYS hear the prayers of our grateful hearts. 

Dear God, thank you for waking us for another day. Thank you for helping us feel Your presence as we take time to share with You. Your presence is what we need in difficult days of doubt. Arm us with the STRENGTH YOU PROVIDE. We will never forget, there is HOPE in the power of Your greatness. Help us find PEACE that passes all understanding as we continue to TRUST in YOU and believe You will handle our lives. Thank you, Lord. Amen
