Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46: 4 NIV

Sometimes we forget the Father of mercy is closer than we think. We forget who provides STRENGTH to sustain. But Jesus helps us witness the LOVE of God as we grow deeper in our relationship. The One who knows what we need provides HOPE for our days.   

With arms wide open, Jesus longs for us to discover how it feels to be held. He opens our eyes so we will focus on GOOD and leave our worries behind. He helps us learn to be patient and open our hearts for PEACE. He helps us find comfort from the heart of His love.        

As we’re connected to the One who saves, we begin to understand the power of His greatness. He helps us discover what needs to be known, as we make a better connection. He shows how to recognize God’s rewards and discover how it feels to be blessed.    

Why do we waste time worrying? The Bible says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-7

We must be ready when Jesus extends the hands of His holiness. There IS power in the mention of His name. If we seek Him, pray and turn from our selfish ways, He will change our lives forever! He will pull us from the wonder of doubt and lift us where courage is found. He will provide glimpses of what’s to come and continue to lead us to the Father.

God will show us amazing things we have never witnessed. We must humbly welcome Jesus and allow Him to lead us in the right direction. God knows what He's doing! We must honor Him with a grateful heart and faithfully BELIEVE HE will ALWAYS take care of us.  

Dear God, thank you for opening our eyes to the blessing of this day. Forgive us when we try to handle life on our own. Renew our hearts and help us learn to TRUST. We will lift our hands to the One who saves and humble our hearts for Jesus. We will be reminded how much we are loved, while we’re held by the power of Your love. Thank you, Lord! You bring PEACE to our souls while we're cradled in care. YOU help us recognize we are gratefully blessed. We love You so very much! Amen
