He says, “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be honored among the nations. I will be honored in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 NIRV

Sometimes we don't allow ourselves to experience the silence of surrender. We become overwhelmed by distractions and forget who is working for good. We need to be STILL and honor God for His authority! In quiet moments, we can discover how it feels to be  held by holiness.  

Oh, how we need to feel PEACE in His presence! Putting faith in others won’t help us focus on the One who created us to put our HOPE in HIM. He prepares us to live for today and be readied for what’s to come.  He opens hearts to be guided by His WORD.  

Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.” Luke 11: 28 NLT 

Quiet time welcomes prayer. As we commune with the Father, He arms us with everything we need to find STRENGTH. HE helps us examine our lives and readies us for His will. He helps us remember there will never be a day without Him. 

God will place calm in our hearts. His mercies are new each and every morning. We must be patient, quiet and learn to be SILENT. God will ALWAYS take care of us. He has a plan! He will be honored if we give Him our love, encourage one another and simply take time to be STILL.  

“Do not be afraid of silence in your prayer time. It might be that you are meant to listen, not to speak.”

Dear God, thank you for allowing us to rest in Your presence. When we become frustrated by opinions, help us find clarity and discern what is true. Guide us in the right direction as we humbly seek wisdom and put our HOPE in YOU. YOUR WORD is a lamp unto our feet. Open our hearts to find truth in the Bible. Thank you for holding us in Your holiness and giving us PEACE. Renew us with the love of Your faithfulness. Arm us with everything we need to remember YOU are the ONE who knows what’s best for our lives. Thank you for cradling us in care EVERY single day! Amen
