He says, “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be honored among the nations. I will be honored in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 NIRV

God patiently waits for us to seek Him and welcome His presence. He reminds us to slow down and be still. He arms us with everything we need to soothe our souls as He opens our hearts for His will.   

Sometimes, we don't allow ourselves to experience the silence of surrender. We refuse to release control. But when we lay our burdens down, Jesus helps us feel PEACE that is calming. He takes the worry of wonder when we're cradled in His care. 

“Time spent with God increases our intimacy with Jesus”, even when we do not speak. God knows what’s in our hearts before we pray. He is HERE and HE loves us. We will always find rest if we allow ourselves to be held by His holiness.  

Dear God, thank you for allowing us to rest in Your presence. Open our hearts, so we will be still and remember how much we are loved. Thank you for helping us find rest in Jesus. Renew us with the love of Your faithfulness while we’re cradled in care. You provide what we need and we are grateful! Thank you, Lord. Thank you for holding us while we sleep. You are ALWAYS working for the good and we are grateful. Amen
