Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act. Psalm 37:7

When winter rain pours heavy, God saturates the ground. He has a reason for the seasons of our lives. He grows HOPE in our hearts as we witness His blessings even when the sun doesn’t shine.    

God prepares us to welcome His goodness. He humbles our hearts for His. He reveals His presence in mighty ways, so we’ll recognize the power of His love. He readies us to welcome spring and better days to come. 

God has a plan for our lives. He WILL arm us with everything we need to be patient. The Maker of every living thing WILL grow our TRUST. The sun will shine with greater reward if we wait for days of gray to disappear. We must TRUST the One who will shine His light, even on the darkest days of doubt. 

God, thank you for waking us to another day. Rain or shine, help us feel the light of Jesus and be warmed by ALL You provide. We will put our HOPE in You, as we’re led through weathered days of doubt. We will find PEACE in Your presence. This is the day YOU have made! We will rejoice and be glad! We’re so grateful for Your faithfulness to us! We will welcome Your STRENGTH as we WAIT for better days to come. Thank you, loving Father! We are one step closer to spring. Amen
