For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Whoever puts his trust in God’s Son will not be lost but will have life that lasts forever. John 3:16 NLV 

When we are preparing for the hardest moments of our lives, Jesus readies us to remember He knows our hearts.  He knows about our suffering and reminds us to faithfully TRUST in the promise of eternal reward. He gives peace that passes all understanding and helps us remember STRENGTH comes in His presence.   

The Bible says, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

Death separates us from the world, but it cannot separate us from the love of God. He provides HOPE to remember there IS eternal reward because of Jesus. When it’s time to say goodbye to those we love, He gives strength to remember they will be healed from ALL suffering and pain.    

Jesus brought HOPE to the world, light to the darkness and the promise of eternal life. He longs for us to believe in His power to save. He died and rose again so those who believe in Him will live forever in WHOLENESS. He is the way to the Father. 

God knows how long we will remain on earth. We can’t possibly predict when we’ll take our final breath. But we can use the days we’re given to remember we’re cradled by love as we draw closer to HIM.  When God calls us home, we will breathe in the wholeness of eternal love. We will see Christ in His glory and receive our greatest reward. None of us can imagine what wonderful things are waiting for those who are ready to greet their Maker. He provides life that will last forever with Him. 

The eternal God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms are under us and those we love. Deuteronomy 33:27

Dear God, thank you for the lives of those You are preparing to come home. Thank you for knowing our hearts and the sadness of goodbye. Help us feel Your presence of PEACE and allow us to remember wholeness comes from Your eternal reward.  We know there is victory over death! Give us courage to find HOPE in the promise of Your everlasting love. And help us remember LOVE BEARS ALL THINGS when we’re held in the hands of Your holiness. Amen

For the many who are facing the sadness of loss, we are praying for YOU and those you love. May God bring strength, comfort and hope to remember LOVE bears all things. “Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16
