Happy Valentine’s Day! On a day to celebrate those we love, we’re grateful for feelings which make us feel blessed, treasured and loved. Love is a gift of good. It’s a powerful tool that allows us to share the love of Christ and recognize we have been created to love one another...

“We have all been put on earth together for a reason, and love is exactly what enables it to be so powerful.” God’s love is so much more than sweet emotions and happy thoughts. The Bible says, “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

We are here for a purpose! God wants us to encourage each other with the gifts He provides. He’s honored when we recognize “The highest love is not based on feelings, but a commitment of our will.” He readies us to remember love lasts forever because GOD IS LOVE! 

As we remain faithful, He will help us understand the compassion of Christ. Jesus served with a humble heart, shared the love of the Father and covered the darkness with light. We should follow His example and love with patience, kindness and grace; loving completely as God loves us. 

The Bible says love is patient and kind. It’s not envious, arrogant or rude. It’s not selfish or easily angered. It doesn’t keep a record of how others have wronged us. It endures with hope and remains when the going gets tough... Jesus washed His disciples’ feet in moments to demonstrate the heart of His love. We can show Christ-like love to others and allow them to see His love in us.   

So, we have come to know and to believe the LOVE that God has for us. God is LOVE, and whoever abides in LOVE abides in God, and God abides in Him. John 4:16 ESV What a wonderful day to celebrate those we love! May we continue to love as God loves us and never forget His faithfulness lasts forever!  

Dear God, Thank you for Your faithfulness. We feel the depth of Your LOVE as we open our hearts for Jesus and draw closer to You. On this day to celebrate those we love, humble our hearts so we will remember whoever abides in LOVE abides in YOU.  We will let our actions speak louder than words as we share the love of Christ and truly love one another. Thank you for the amazing LOVE You have for each one of us. We are blessed! We are grateful! Thank you, Lord! Oh, how we LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF OUR HEARTS. ♥ Amen
