So, we have come to know and to believe the LOVE that God has for us. God is LOVE, and whoever abides in LOVE abides in God, and God abides in him. John 4:16 ESV

Sometimes, we miss needed opportunities to feel the LOVE of the Father. But He knows the heart of our need. "God doesn’t just love us. He IS LOVE!” While we were still sinners, Christ died for each of us. He demonstrated never ending love with the sacrifice of Jesus. 

The Bible says we should LOVE the Lord our God with ALL of our hearts, souls and might. Deuteronomy 6:5  God created us to LOVE Him with EVERY part of our being. But often, we become selfish in what we choose to give. We miss important opportunities to see what happens when we LOVE HIM FULLY. 

We will never completely welcome what God provides, if our hearts are not humbled for His. We won’t discover how it feels to be deeply loved or HELD by the strength of His holiness. And we won’t have the chance to welcome abundant joy.

We must put God first in our lives, LOVE Him with ALL of our hearts and desire His goodness and grace. He will guide us in His WORD and ready us to see how it feels to be treasured, loved and cradled in FULLNESS. 

God IS deserving of everything we give. He will nurture our faith and honor the prayers of our praise. "He doesn’t just love us. God IS LOVE!” The Bible says, “We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19. 

We must put God first in our lives and LOVE Him with ALL of our hearts. God WILL pour His LOVE on us. He is faithful forever! He knows our hearts. He WILL help us feel His power of LOVE for us. As we learn to recognize how it feels to be grounded by GOOD, surely, we will want to love HIM even more…♥

God, we can never thank You enough for loving us. Forgive us when we offer only morsels of what You deserve. Thank for ALL You provide. Help us surrender the selfish side of want so we will make room to RECEIVE the gifts of Your greatness. Thank you for what has already been done for each one of us. Oh, how we need to experience the LOVE of a grateful heart, so JOY that was lost WILL BE FOUND. Open our hearts to feel the LOVE of Your faithfulness, so we will experience what happens when we LOVE You even more…Thank you, Lord! We’re so grateful You LOVE us completely. Amen
