For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NLT

Jesus led the way to the hill where He would die. The weight of the world scarred His flesh and broke the heart of those who felt His pain. We will never be able to fully understand this type of amazing LOVE. But if we reach for the hands that were scared for our sin, we will feel the LOVE of God’s amazing grace and find comfort while we're cradled in care.

God lovingly sacrificed Jesus, so His will would be fulfilled. He knows the heart of suffering. He prepares us to remember Christ’s death, resurrection and plan for eternal life. He reminds us there will come a day when there will be NO MORE sadness. 

God lifted His Son and allowed Him to rise. We need to be reminded, so we will have HOPE for tomorrow and STRENGTH for today. We need the LOVE of Jesus every moment of our lives. HE is the way to the Father.

We are not held by fear! God will help us witness the goodness of life, as we experience a living relationship with the One who came to save. It was LOVE that held Jesus to the cross. It is LOVE that will help us overcome! Nothing compares to the gift of this greatness!

Dear God, Thank you for Jesus and the presence of His PEACE. Help us remember who knows about suffering and give us HOPE as we remain faithful to YOU. We will remember the sacrifice of Your precious Son and be grateful for the gift of our salvation. Thank you for the One who came to save! Thank you for the power of Your everlasting LOVE. Amen
