Always be joyful.  Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 NLT 

God provides everything we need to find reasons to be grateful. But sometimes we become consumed by the circumstances of life and forget to open our eyes in praise.    

God wakes us for new beginnings! The Bible says, “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations 3: 22-23 NLT. 

As we welcome each new day, God gives us the opportunity to witness His presence and feel His nudging in our lives. He silences distractions and finds the way to reach us. He opens our hearts to receive the love of Jesus and feel the JOY of our praise. 

Life will not always be perfect. We'll experience moments that are painful and sad. But if we become receivers of God’s greatness, we will begin to understand how He reaches us with the strength of His love.     

God is in charge of the weather and we are in charge of accepting what He provides. Gray sky days can't offer the beauty of the sun. But we will have a greater appreciation if we patiently remember God WILL help us find joy in ALL situations. 

He is worthy of PRAISE! We must TRUST Him to handle our lives and love Him ALL of our days. He is GOD! He is HERE and HE loves us! This is the day the Lord has made. Rejoice and be glad!

God, thank you for waking us to experience the power of Your greatness. Humble our hearts. Help us become grateful receivers who choose to praise YOU, even in the struggles of our lives. Thank you for helping us find joy when we walk in the rain. Thank you for Your plan and purpose for our days. We will faithfully TRUST in YOU and love YOU forever... Amen
