Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Colossians 4:2 NLT

God opens our eyes to witness amazing things! He knows HOW to help us FEEL His presence. When we open our hearts to receive the power of His love, He grows our hearts for His greatness. 

As we become aware who is handling our days, God nurtures our hearts with thanks. We begin to notice what needs to be discovered and recognize GRATITUDE is a beautiful thing. 

When we look for the good, God helps us find it! Sometimes He uses mighty ways to remind us HE IS HERE! But often He rewards us with little blessings which mustn’t go unnoticed.      

God longs for us to open our hearts and welcome the fullness of joy.  Thankfulness sets the stage for us to remember how to welcome needed peace. It provides strength for our souls. 

God will open our hearts as we TRUST in the timing of His will. He knows how to remind us we are valued and loved. Surely, He will help us discover how we are blessed. He is deserving of prayers of  praise EVERY day of our lives. 

God, thank you for the amazing ways You draw us closer to the heart of Your love. There is beauty in what we see when we take time to LOOK.  Thank you for the gifts of Your greatness which lead us to a prayer of PRAISE. Let this be the day that we choose to notice ALL You provide for each one of us. Thank you, Lord! Thank you! Amen
