She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.” Proverbs 31:26-27
Mothers help us grow and learn. They teach us valuable lessons along the way. They guide us with unending love and teach us how to pray. They hold our hands when we’re little and help us find courage to be brave. They fill our hearts with desire to be nurtured by kindness and love. ♥
Mothers are the coaches of our will to succeed. They support our goals and nurture the heart of our dreams. They teach us to walk in truth and marvel when we learn how to run. And when we stumble and fall, they remind us why we must keep on trusting the Lord.
God knows the heart of those who share the love of Jesus. Mothers who know Him as Lord of their lives, raise children in the way they should go… Proverbs 22: 6 says, “Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.”
Mothers show grace when the gifts of His greatness are forgotten. They lead us back where we belong and remind us to praise Him ALL of our days.
A mother’s love continues even when we cannot hear her voice or share a special day. God cradles mothers in His care. He allows us to feel the depth of her love even when she’s no longer with us. He helps us recognize we are blessed with memories and gratitude in our hearts.
Celebrate the mother who is with you! Treasure her with all of your love. Every day we’re given is reason to LOVE her even more…
Thank you, God for mothers! We know they are treasured by You. Thank you for the those you have placed in our lives to nurture kindness and compassion. Thank you for what will remain in our hearts forever; when we honor our mothers with thanks to YOU. Amen
~ A Note from Nan...♥
Happy Mother’s Day (early)! I’m so grateful to be the mother of two amazing men; Andy and Ben. And the mother- in- law of their loving wives; Kristin and Kaitlin. We are truly blessed!
We’ll be enjoying a Girl’s Getaway this weekend and my next post will be on Monday, May 10. I will be thinking of each one of you on Sunday as we celebrate our mothers and the precious women in our lives who we love. God bless you, dear family and friends. Have a wonderful weekend ahead…♥
