Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 ESV

God places friends in our lives for a reason. They strengthen us in time of need and reflect the light of Christ. They build us up, encourage our dreams and celebrate achievements. They remind us we are treasured and loved.  

“Friends are the family we find along the way.” Truly, they are gifts from God. He uses them to remind us how to love one another. They help us grow and learn how it feels to shine.   

The Bible says, “Do not withhold good from those who deserve it

 when it’s in your power to help them.” Proverbs 3:27 NLT We can all be a presence of good in the lives of those who will be blessed by the love we share.

We all need the support of a loving friend; a treasured confidant with a listening ear and a heart of love for Jesus. We need to care for one another. Much can be accomplished if we share our burdens, joys, and humbly allow God to connect us with those who WILL always make a difference.

God, thank you for kind hearted souls. They reach us in many ways and reflect the love of Christ. Thank you for those who encourage our dreams and share joy in our lives. Thank you, for friends! They remind us WHY we are blessed and celebrate our love for YOU. Thank you, Lord for reminding us to simply LOVE one another. Amen
