“Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them.” Proverbs 3:27 NLT

Jesus taught humility when He washed the feet of His disciples and demonstrated the love of His faithfulness. He humbled hearts as a lowly servant and longs for us to do the same; with a heart of compassion.  

Sometimes, we allow frustrations to affect the way we speak. We forget to think before we project words which are hurtful. Human weakness robs thoughts of good and we need to be reminded to speak with LOVE.  

God wants us to become the “bridge in pursing His heart.” What we say to others WILL make a difference. We must show compassion, share gentle words of truth and be careful what we say, even when we don’t see “eye to eye”. 

The Bibles says, Gentle words are a tree of life; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit. Proverbs 15:4 Every word we say will bring glory to HIS name, if we communicate as messengers of PEACE.   

God, thank you for the power of Your presence. Give us wisdom to communicate words of truth. Help us be messengers of Your peace, even when we don’t agree with others. Arm us with everything we need to serve You with a humbled heart. Help us focus on what is GOOD, so we will choose our words wisely and graciously speak to those who will see YOU in us. We will honor YOU by the way we choose to love one another. Thank you for Your love for us. Amen
