Sometimes we need to step away, find a place to be still, humble our hearts in quiet moments and pray. God longs for us to experience how it feels to be cradled in His care, held where distractions can’t find us. He holds us in the comfort of His love. And as we sit for a while, we begin to realize how it feels to be held in His holiness and covered with His mercy and strength. 

God loves us!  As we sit in His presence, He arms us with everything we need to face each day and discover how to love Him more. He hears our prayers of praise and allows us to recognize His timely rewards. He opens our eyes to witness the love of His faithfulness and delights when we welcome thoughts of good.

God fills us full of everything we need to be reminded we’re not alone. As hard as we try, sometimes we forget we are held by His holiness. Life pulls us away from remembering who plans our days and leads us where we don’t want to go. Doubt rules our thoughts and we need to be reminded to faithfully TRUST.  

God fuels our souls as we breathe what He provides. He has a plan for our days. When we need to be reminded there is STRENGTH within, He open our hearts for praise. He helps us embrace what we’ve been given to leave our worries behind and reminds us we are valued and loved.  

God is our ever-present help in time of need. He knows the longing of our hearts. He helps us witness His blessings. He sets the stage for what’s to come and reminds us we are not alone in the challenges we face. He helps us cope with HOPE. 

In quiet moments to find rest, He opens our hearts for Jesus. When we have been readied to walk in the fullness of His love, He shows us how to TRUST. Spending time with God is important. He hears every conversation, knows our every thought and give us opportunities to be reminded His mercies are new each and every morning. 

God will bless our souls as we share time together. He will help us consider what we need to remember about the goodness of His love. He will help us feel His nudging and prepare us to handle what’s to come. We can count on Him to guide, provide and help us move along; one foot in front of the other and TRUST He will always take care of us. God has a plan for the future. He is deserving of so much more than mere morsels of our time.  

Dear God, Thank you for the blessing of each new day. Forgive us when we neglect to spend time with YOU. Humble our hearts so we will focus on the gifts of Your greatness, leave distractions behind and find calm while we’re cradled in care. We will praise YOU for the many ways You hold us together and help us remember there will never be a day without Your love. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for loving us through every moment and holding us when we need to be held. YOU give us courage and strength!  Amen
