You may be wondering why I’m posting at 3:21 AM...Oh, my! 

When I wake up this EARLY, I tend to think God is calling me to WRITE. I’m glad it’s something I love to do! I trust Him completely and believe there’s a reason He wants me to type in the middle of the night. (yawn)

It's good to respond when God calls us to rise and welcome what He provides. He uses us in mighty ways! When we forget His timing has purpose, He shows beauty in what He creates.              

Yesterday, I sat on my patio noticing changes in my yard. The flowers which flourished on warm summer days are beginning to show their weakness. I worry about the first frost of fall. But God has a plan to replace my disappointment with what He WILL provide in many other ways...

He knows what we need to witness the love of His greatness. As I prayed with a grateful heart for the space I’ve shared with my flowers, God opened my eyes to notice something else that was happening in my yard...

A leaf fell slowly; whirling and twirling, making its way to the grass beneath my feet. I’d never noticed the beauty of this ritual. It reminded me God provides glimpses of good; even in the worry of our wonder... 

Change is an important part of our lives. It helps us move closer to God. It grows our faith and reminds us to TRUST. It prepares us for what's to come and reminds us who takes GOOD care of EVERY living thing.  

If you’re dealing with anxious thoughts of what will happen next, remember this; even though our lives will change, God will NOT. He is our constant source of strength. When we fall into His arms, He will cradle us in care and hold us in His holiness. He is God! He knows what He’s doing! Have faith and TRUST. Be brave and remember our Father IS HERE. He will ALWAYS guide and provide for those He loves. 

Dear God, thank you for the power of Your greatness. You know what we need in every season of our lives. When the winds of change move us in a new direction, help us find land safely with You. Nurture our faith and hold us in the arms of Your strength.  Thank you for taking care of us and those we love. We will welcome what happens when we write gratitude in our hearts. You bless us in so many ways. Thank you, Lord. Amen
