Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him. 1 Chronicles 16:11 NLT
Summer will soon disappear. Leaves of green will begin to display beautiful colors of fall and remind us cooler weather is on the way. Fall is a favorite season for many. It brings opportunities for a change of pace and sets the stage for what’s to come.
There will always be changes in our lives. Sometimes they will be welcomed with patience as we learn to TRUST. And sometimes we will need gentle reminders that God IS in control, even when we’re led from the comfort of familiar routines.
God’s timing is not our own. When life interrupts our plans and we’re called to move in a different direction, He remains faithful to us. He provides courage and STRENGTH. He opens our hearts for clarity as we walk with Jesus and step in the footprints of PEACE.
As we welcome the newness of each new season, we must remember God’s promise to us. He will love us through every moment as we walk in faith and BELIEVE in the power of His greatness.
As we prayerfully embrace what God provides, He will help us examine our hearts and remember who handles our days. He has a plan and purpose for our lives. God will help us remember there are "lessons in the blessings." He WILL allow us to witness His timely rewards and we will WELCOME the love of each new season with a grateful heart.
There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens: Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV) As we remember God IS WITH US, He will prepare us to discover the fullness of His love. He will show HOW to welcome thankfulness when changes come.
Dear God, thank you for the power of Your love. Thank you for the beauty of each new season. Help us faithfully TRUST in the power of Your plan. Open our eyes for what we will see when we take time to notice ALL You provide. YOU bless us in so many ways! Help us remember when changes come, YOU are source of STRENGTH. Thank you for helping us welcome change. Thank you for all YOu do to remind us we are loved EVERY day of our lives. We are grateful, Lord. Amen
