I will give thanks to you with all my heart, O Lord my God. I will honor you forever because your mercy toward me is great. Psalm 86: 12-13

Sometimes we forget GOD IS WITH US. He is always HERE watching over those He loves. He handles our days and holds us together. He hears our PRAISE. Even in broken hallelujah’s, He knows the depth of our love.    

God opens our hearts for Jesus. He helps us develop an attitude of gratitude as we become aware of His many blessings. He reminds us He IS worthy of love. HE sets the stage for what’s to come and provides for our lives. He helps us remember who has a plan for our days. 

Sometimes, we forget we were shaped by our Creator to TRUST in the timing of His will and live with appreciation for ALL He has done to bless our lives. We have experienced days of doubt and questioned what will happen next. But God has shown us reasons to be grateful and nurture a heart of thankfulness, no matter what. 

1 Thessalonians 5: 18 says, “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” The future is unclear, but God’s love for us is not. If we focus on reasons to be grateful, God will restore our hearts and remove the worry of wonder. He will nurture our souls with thanksgiving and allow us to experience a harvest of HOPE. 

God will open our eyes to celebrate a season of blessings and fill us with everything we NEED, so we will recognize His timely rewards and understand STRENGTH will always come when we are thankful. 

Dear God, thank you for the reasons we have to be grateful. Forgive us when we forget to focus on what is GOOD. Help us be mindful of ALL You provide and remember WHY we need YOU. Guide us to a prayer of praise as we find PEACE in Your presence. Help us remember the LOVE of our GRATITUDE will honor YOU and bless us in MANY ways. Thank you, Lord for helping us remember WHY we are grateful. Amen
